Sunset Solar Array

Description: The Sunset Solar array consist of two different arrays that were installed on an abandoned residential subdivision. Over the course of a year, the Sunset Solar Array is estimated to offset approximately 1,472 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 1,472 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

  • consuming 150,000 gallons of gasoline,
  • burning 1.46 million pounds of coal; or,
  • driving 3.37 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
