Cherry Valley Solar Array
Description: The Cherry Valley Solar Array was installed on a previously wooded site. Over the course of a year, the Cherry Valey Solar Array is estimated to offset approximately 1,386 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
To put that in perspective, 1,386 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:
- consuming 142,000 gallons of gasoline,
- burning 1.38 million pounds of coal; or,
- driving 3.08 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
