Flint Pond Solar Array

Description: The Flint Pond Solar Array was installed on a previously wooded site. Over the course of a year, the Flint Pond Solar Array is estimated to offset approximately 736 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 684 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

  • consuming 70,000 gallons of gasoline,
  • burning 679,000 pounds of coal; or,
  • driving 1.52 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
