Curtis Hill Solar Array

Description: The Curtis Hill Solar Array was installed on an abandoned residential subdivision. Over the course of a year, the Curtis Hill Solar Array is estimated to offset approximately 3,200 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 2,400 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

  • consuming 248,000 gallons of gasoline,
  • burning 2.4 million pounds of coal; or,
  • driving 5.4 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
